One of the main ways people use blogs is to generate content for search engines. Search engines like Google like blogs because the data is organized in a way that's easy to understand. That helps them provide better search results with less resources. With the all new blog app you don't have to go out of your way to generate the type of URLs Google wants to see from your blog. When you create a title to your blog the URL to the post will already be formatted in a way search engines like.

A couple of cool features that will give your blog a professional touch are H1 and Quotes. By highlighting a section of text and then choosing to apply the H1 tag you'll turn that text into a bold headline.
You can callout quotes within your article by highlighting the text you'd like to quote and then clicking on the quotes icon. This is a great way to call attention to a section of your blog that will draw the reader in, so they'll continue reading.

The all new blog app let's you link to not only other pages on your website, and other blog posts, but anywhere on the web. Highlight the text you'd like to change to a link, click on the link icon, and away you go.
Great Looking Layouts
We know you want a great looking blog, but not all blogs are the same. So we gave you three different blog layouts to choose from. You can change the layout of a blog by going to the blog page in the editor, clicking on the blog, clicking the cog icon, and then choosing the desired layout from the drop down menu.
Comment Ready
We love to hear from you, and we know you love to hear from your website visitors. That's why we built commenting right in. Your visitors can either leave a comment anonymously or they can enter their email. If they have a Gravatar we'll even display their profile pic automatically.
Customizable
Just like all things WebStarts the blog is 100% customizable. You can add elements to your blog page and your posts page in the same way you drag and drop elements to any other WebStarts page.
iOS App
People are spending more time on their mobile devices than ever. We know some of the times you're most inspired to write, you'll only have your phone with you. So we created an iOS app. Now you'll be able to capture those fleeting thoughts while you're on the go.
Save as Draft
It's not unusual to start writing, and suddenly run into writer's block. So we added a save as draft feature. That way you'll be able to save whatever you've written, and then come back later, when you're feeling more inspired, and finish your thought.
Schedule Posts
Producing a steady flow of content takes time. Some days there simply won't be enough time in a day to write high quality content. To solve this problem we created a scheduled posts feature that let's you create all your content at once, and then schedule it to be published later. It's the perfect way to stay consist with your content publishing while managing your time.

Talking to our customers we know a lot of people are told to build their blog on Wordpress only to find out it's complicated and technical. These people are often not able to customize the look and feel of their blog or even figure out how to make new posts. We found people wanted something easier, so we created a Wordpress Importer. This feature let's you import your entire Wordpress blog onto the WebStarts platform in a few clicks. You'll then be able to edit the posts originally created on Wordpress with our easy to use writing platform and of course you'll be able to create new one's too.
