How To Embed Documents on Your Website

Adding documents to your website is one of the many ways having a website can help your business or organization run more efficiently. I personally find it far more convenient when I can help myself to a contract, a waiver, or some other form on a website rather than have to make a call or send an email back and forth.

WebStarts makes it easy to host your documents on your website with the document app. The document app provides you an easy way to embed documents so they can be viewed, downloaded, and even printed from your website.

You can find the document app by clicking on the left side bar and scrolling down to where it says document then uploading your documents. Supported documents include Word, Excel, PDF, and more. Once the document is uploaded click to select it and then click the insert file button to add it to your webpage. Once it's on your website it will be displayed in a frame you can drag and drop wherever you'd like it to appear. You can also resize the document using the handles attached to the frame.

When you're happy with where the document has been placed. Click save and publish the document to your website. Your site visitors will then be able to click the pop-out icon in the top right to open the full version of the document where they'll be able to download, save, and print.

WebStarts comes with all sorts of other features and apps that make running your life easier. If you haven't already done so, you can sign up for free by visting WebStarts.com.
