Clearing Browser Cache/Temporary Internet Files In Firefox

Below are the steps required to clear the browser cache on a PC using Firefox…

Step 1: Click the Firefox tab located in the upper left corner of the browser window, followed by Options and then Options again.

Step 2: Click the Privacy tab located on top of the Options window.

Step 3: Click the link labeled clear your recent history.

Step 4: Choose Everything from the Time Range drop down.

Step 5: Click Details and make sure that Cache is selected and click Clear Now. NOTE: Please verify the rest of the options available to be deleted before proceeding to avoid deleting something you did not want to delete.

Step 6: Click OK to close the Options window and then close and restart the web browser.

 

Below are the steps required to clear the browser cache on a Mac using Firefox…

Step 1: With Firefox open, click the Firefox tab on the menu bar, followed by Preferences.

Step 2: Click the Privacy tab located on top of the Options window.

Step 3: Click the link labeled clear your recent history.

Step 4: Choose Everything from the Time Range drop down.

Step 5: Click Details and make sure that Cache is selected and click Clear Now. NOTE: Please verify the rest of the options available to be deleted before proceeding to avoid deleting something you did not want to delete.

Step 6: Close the Options window and then close and restart the web browser.

 

The above steps should clear all of the Cached files in Firefox and should allow you to pull a fresh copy of any site you might visit.
